Pricing
All product prices shown exclude VAT at the current rate of 20%. Postage and packaging will be charged on all orders and will be itemised seperately. VAT will be calculated and applied at the current rate of 20% to all orders at the checkout stage.
Orders
Orders are subject to availability and remain the property of www.mouthguardsdirect.co.uk until payment has been received in full.
Customers should note that should they wish to return a mouthguard that they should NOT BREAK THE SEAL ON THE MOUTHGUARD CASE. Owing to the nature of the product and in order to maintain continued product hygiene, we are unable to fully refund mouthguards where the mouthguard case has been opened and the Seal is not intact.
Damages and Shortages
If an item is received damaged or is short in quantity you must notify us by email (info@mouthguardsdirect.co.uk) within 7 working days from the emailed despatch notification date. Non-deliveries must be notified within 7 working days from the emailed despatch notification date. Failure to make a claim within this timeframe may result in your claim being rejected. Once we have received notification, we will issue instructions regarding how the claim is to be processed and resolved. Customers should not return goods without first notifying us and following the returns procedures. Any such orders returned to us without prior consent will not be credited.
Customers may return an item to us within 14 working days from receipt of delivery.
Returns
Returns will only be accepted if the product is damaged, defective or is an error on our part. In such cases we will refund any postage and packing charges you have incurred. If, however, on examination no defect or error can be found, we reserve the right to re-charge you for the item(s) and to recover any fees and expenses we have incurred from you. The only exception to this is the online 7-day cooling-off period (see Online 7-day “cooling-off” Period section below).
Customers wishing to return items should contact us by email (info@mouthguardsdirect.co.uk) quoting their original despatch note number. We will then issue instructions for your return and give you a unique customer returns number. This returns number should be quoted on all correspondence and should also be written on the outside of your returned packet or parcel. Upon receipt of your returned items we will then credit your original credit or debit card in line with our returns policy.

Online 7-day “cooling-off” Period
By law, customers located in the European Union have the right to withdraw from the purchase of an item within seven working days of the day after the date the item was delivered. Where you are withdrawing from your purchase within the seven working days cooling-off period and there is no error on our part, we will refund the cost of the item(s) and the original delivery charge. The cost of returning the item(s) will not be refunded. However, if upon inspection of the returned goods, we discover that the Seal on the mouthguard case(s) has been broken, we reserve the right to refuse to credit the entire purchase price. Where you are returning only part of the order, then only the returned item will be credited. Customers should also note that items delivered by either first class post or special delivery before noon will only be credited the cost of the standard delivery charge appropriate for that item(s).

Product Images
We have made every effort to ensure that the product images shown on the website are fully representative of the product. We reserve the right to change a product specifications or to supply a substitute item of equal or superior quality should an item become unavailable.
Payment
Customers will be expected to make full payment for products before they are despatched. We accept Paypal payments including all major credit and debit cards.
Product Liability
All sports and methods of exercise are potentially hazardous. It is the individual’s own responsibility to ensure their own safety and use the product responsibly. Customers must be aware that these mouthguards do offer some protection for the mouth, but use of a mouthguard cannot guarantee prevention of injury or trauma. However, we do not recommend that these mouthguards be used for such sports as boxing or where the target is the head.
